A great primer!

This is best applied in 2 different ways, depending on what I'm trying to do. For the area's where I want to hide my fine lines and make my pores appear smaller I pat it on and for the area's where I want to use it as a primer I rub it in. Rubbing it in makes it go a lot further so I don't use much product, and when I pat it in I'll use more product but it gives better coverage.

I've found that if I rub this into my problem area's it doesn't hide them at all, whereas when I pat it onto those area's they are hidden.

Instant Perfection!

I am 27 and a half years old and feel very lucky to have been able to trial a product to give my skin a helping hand at this very early stage of fine lines and wrinkles that have just started to appear, mainly around my eyes. So with this sudden cool weather we've been having my skin has also become extra dry and this product not only filled in my fine lines completely but also moisturised my skin really well as well. I have been keeping this little gem of mine in my purse and carrying it wherever I go! It's great to touch up any dry areas throughout the day and is even ok to put over your make-up as it won't mess it up. I was very impressed to learn that this is also an Aussie made product, so I love firstly how great it actually works and secondly I love that I can support another Aussie product that I believe in.

An added bonus, ITS NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS!!!!! :D

I find it so hard these days to find out exactly how the products I'm using and buying are made. I am so glad to know that in this case, this product is made cruelty free!

This also doesn't have any fragrance to it which I also love because a lot of products that I've used on my face in the past either the smell can put me off especially when the product you're applying is going right up your nose or it can totally set my nose off and take me on a sneezing fit for the next 10 minutes. So with this product you don't have to worry about that!

Clearer skin, rather than line reducer

I was lucky to try this product as part of the trial team. I had seen this product in the chemist a few times and wondered if it would be any good as the price was so reasonable (but we all know price doesn't always mean results). I was very happy to receive this product. I am 26 and have sadly got a few ..I prefer to say smile lines around my eyes, and was really wanting to see if this product would fill in those wrinkles and fine lines.

Tips

I found this product was very cost effective as you only need a very small amount. I loved that there wasn't a strong smell and my skin is quite sensitive so I was very pleased that my skin was not irritated. It is very gentle on the skin. The product for me worked more as a skin smoother. I liked that the cream absorbed into my skin quickly and I did appear a lot brighter around my eyes. People actually commented at work that I looked bright and fresh. Unfortunately I did not experience much fine line reduction. I am still happy to use this product as a primer for my skin and love the fact that it brightened up my eyes and hid my bags!!

Ideal for

I think this product is a eye lifter and eye brightener. I was not as impressed at its wrinkle filling abilities. I will continue to use this product but will continue my hunt for a wrinkle cream that works for me.

On an older skin did not fill in deep wrinkles however a luminous effect was achieved

As a 60 going on 70 chic grandmother, never having used a primer before, I was very impressed by this beautifully presented product.

Fragrance free, easy to use with an amazing texture, it gave my skin the softest silky feeling. The application of my foundation was made so easy afterwards, leaving a smooth and moisturised glow.

I was a 40 year old primer virgin ! (43 but who's counting)

Well, its true, I have never ever ever used a primer before. So I can't compare but I can certainly spruke the benefits of this amazing product. The sleek tube, royal blue and gold packaging with a slimline nozzle which dispenses the ever so tiny amount of product needed really works well as you can be sparing, it applies like liquid silk. I applied this white gel, which dries to a soft powdery smooth finish on my frown line , around my crows feet and even on my chin. Just wherever I felt I wanted a bit of extra help under my makeup. I got instant results, like using a soft lense on a camera, my face was picture perfect. Remember to apply on moisturised skin, I used John Plunkett Advanced Collagen Lift Moisturiser first and left it to sit on my skin for just a minute before application.

Great Australian Made Product

I love how the packaging explains everything you want to know on the box. Very informative. Easy to use squeeze tube makes sure you always get the right amount out. 
It claims to be Fragrance Free, and i couldn't notice any, so that's a big plus, as i really hate fragrance as a rule in my facial products. 
The texture is really nice, very soft and silky, but not sticky. It claims to "Instantly give a velvety smooth base" I would 100% agree with that. 
I was impressed with the results with my pores. I have HUGE pores, and i saw a dramatic improvement in the appearance of them as soon as i put my foundation on. 
My makeup as lasted a bit longer than if i didn't use a primer, and that's impressive on my very oily/very dry combo skin. 
However i was so disappointed that it had no effect on my fine lines and wrinkles. I didn't notice any "Blurring" of them at all as the box claims it will. 
Overall i did love this product for its ability to greatly reduce the appearance of my pores, and general smoothing of my scared skin.

A great primer

I've really enjoyed trialing this product as it's easy and quick to apply, since I'm always in a hurry, and it works. While I don't have much in the way of lines I do have large, visible pores and anything that can help blur their appearance is great with me.

John Plunkett's Instant Wrinkle Filler comes in a 20ml tube that will last quite some time as a little goes a long way, the tube has a small opening so that you can get just the right amount unlike a lot of other products I've used plus it's a great size to throw in your bag for touch-ups throughout the day.

The actual filler is a soft white that basically becomes translucent and slightly matte once applied, it does have that slight silicone feel which means it's soft and smooth on the skin and the rest of your makeup glides on beautifully over the top. This product feels silky and slightly dry on, but it isn't actually drying, which means that all forms of makeup can be easily applied over the top without catching at the primer or causing pilling which is what a good primer should be like. Another big bonus in my book is the smell; there isn't any, which is of huge importance for any skin care product that I use.

Instant Wrinkle Filler can be applied as a base under your makeup but it can also be used alone to lightly mattify and blur imperfections or it can be reapplied over your makeup when needed.

If you're after a nice, silky primer that's a little more heavy duty than the cheaper liquid based primers but isn't overly heavy or clogging then this is the product for you. It may seem a little expensive at around $40 for 20ml but unlike a liquid primer that you apply all over you really only need this in those trouble areas so it will really last a long time. The only reason it hasn't received five stars from me is that I have used another similar product that just pips it at the post, but only just.

Instant Wrinke Filler

I may be only 26, but sadly some fine lines are beginning to appear! Eeek! Sometimes it can be hard filling those lines with a product, which delivers its promise- to make them disappear temporarily. 
John Plunkett's instant wrinkle filler is designed to "smooth" out the lines for a small period of time. While I am not fazed by the simple packaging, the product is in a tube, which is easy to squeeze out the product. And it is a neat 20ml tube, which is easy to carry around in your workbag or night out clutch bag. 
You only need a small amount for the problem areas as the white, semi-transparent, gel spreads quite a bit on the area, yet evenly. 
The wrinkle filler gives a lovely finish, transcending from gel to powder, giving that silky feeling. My problem areas are under my eyes and forehead. It gives a matte, smooth finish. I have oily t-zone and this product does not clog up my pores. Better yet, it is fragrance free so it does not irritate my skin. Whilst it can be used as a primer, I found it quite affective wearing on its own. When wearing on its own, there is a difference, giving my face a fresher complexion. 
I found overall a lovely product and it does deliver its results. Perhaps because my fine lines have only started to appear recently, they are not deep----yet!

Prime for Perfection

I have tried numerous Plunket products in the past and have been happy with their results so I was delighted to be able to trail their newest product. I am a huge fan of primers and never start my regime without one, however in saying that I have only ever used a 1 function primer, I have never used a primer with additional benefits, so I was looking forward to a dual product. Firstly the tube is a great size and the tiny nozzle makes it perfect to be able to control the amount of product used. With this a little goes a long way so the packaging is ideal. The texture almost feels invisible, it’s a mixture between a cream and a gel however as soon as you smooth it onto your skin, its turns slightly powdery and it leaves you skin feeling like silk. 
The primer ensures that my make-up stays put all day (which is very important to me as some days I can work 16 hours) so the fact that it assists my makeup to stay in place for that long is amazing. 
I can notice an instant improvement in the reduction of fine lines, particularly around my eyes and forehead. 
I have also noticed a marked improvement in my skins surface and moisture levels in the short time I have been using it so I am keen to see the results after an extended period of time. 
I am so happy with this dual action product that this is now my primer of choice.

Better as a primer than a wrinkle filler

This light, smooth cream is designed to make lines, pores and other imperfections less visible. It essentially works as a bit of a spack-filler, evening skin surfaces as well as diffusing light to blur these areas. It is applied after moisturiser and before makeup.

The gel/cream is very slick feeling, and spreads easily onto the skin - only a small amount is required. The tube packaging with nozzle keeps it hygienic and prevents wastage as it provides control on how much product you choose to use. You can use it just in problem areas to disguise flaws, or all over the face as a primer.

The product turns from white to clear on application, and the light diffusing properties do make small imperfections, such as open pores look a little less apparent, although I found it was not a long-lasting effect.

It certainly is quite a nice primer, and provides a smooth surface for the application of makeup. If this is what you are looking for, I would recommend it quite highly.

Fill those fine lines!

I'm pleased to have been given the opportunity to try this product for the trial team as one of my most frustrating beauty dilemmas is covering up the shadowy circles under my eyes without exacerbating the fine lines I have around my eyes, which tends to happen when you cake on the concealer. 
This is my first experience with a John Plunkett product and I am quite impressed with the quality of this Australian and well priced brand. The wrinkle filler also came with a generous sample tube of the collagen moisturiser too, which would be a great incentive for a first-time buyer! Housed in a sleek white tube, the fine point applicator rests underneath an easy to unscrew gold lid. A gentle squeeze of the tube enables a tiny blob, just the right amount of the translucent gel to ease out on to tour fingertip. The product is velvety smooth and glides so easily on to your skin. It feels lightweight and seems undetectable except that the little imperfections are blurred out. 
After applying this product, I applied my concealer right away and it seemed to glide on so easily. The real difference seemed to be that the concealer no longer clung to the dry areas or emphasised any lines, rather smoothed over them and helped me dsguise my under-eye circles better than the concealer alone. 
Although I haven't yet tried, the product says it can also be used for areas of open pores as a primer under makeup or over makeup as a mattifier. I think you could probably wear it alone over your moisturiser as a mattifier too if you wanted to, making it a multi-use versatile product. 
The only points lost was that as a primer I would expect it to help my makeup last longer, however my concealer seemed to disappear (as it usually does) by the end of the day, even when wearing this product.

Primer (Trial Team)

An elegant looking tube with gold closure, dispenses product easily and hygienically. The primer has minimal smell and is virtually fragrance free, works well for people whom may have some sensitivities. 
The primer applies easily and leaves a smooth hydrated feeling. 
Make-up applies easily on top and lasts well whilst looking smooth and reducing the appearance of pores.

Perfectly smooth

Thanks to BH I had the opportunity to trial this incredible product that not only fills out fine lines and wrinkles but also makes the complexion so smooth and soft to give a flawless effect. Having a dry skin, I really enjoyed Instant Wrinkle Filler as a primer before make-up application every day for work and also just during the day at home over a moisturiser on weekends. My skin felt nourished and I love that there is Vitamin E to protect my skin from free radical damage. I happened to also have a special function to go to and felt so amazing because my skin looked smooth and radiant, my foundation looked airbrushed! There is absolutely no fragrance, the texture is thick but on application, the formula just melts onto the skin and feels like velvet to touch. The tube is elegant with a gold lid and the packaging is very explanatory in what the product does, what ingredients are used and best of all - that it's made in Australia. I remember Plunketts when I first started in pharmacy and I have to say the products today have really come a long way.

Fabulous Filler

I applied the Instant Wrinkle Filler after cleansing and moisturising and waited a few minutes before applying my foundation. I found the Wrinkle Filler excellent as a primer and really smoothed out my skin. I found that my foundation lasted all day perfectly and remained looking fresh. I did find it felt a little heavy on my skin as I was also wearing moisturiser, sunscreen and foundation and really refer a light feeling from products on my skin.

Smoooooth

This is a smooth, white gel that disappears into your skin, smoothing out to perfect your skin. It feels very silicone-y and a little goes a long way, so don't let the size of the tube put you off. It has little to no scent. 
I used this all over my face, concentrating on rough areas where my makeup tends to settle into little lines. The tiniest dab smoothes out to cover an impressively large area. 
Other primers I've used have made my skin feel overloaded, heavy or even grimy, but this is really light. As for results....it made my (mineral) makeup look even better than usual, flawless and airbrushed, and it wore a little better through out the day. I took particular care to smooth some product into those dodgy little lines-smiley lines at the corner of my mouth, and over my forehead, but i do think my makeup still 'fell into' those areas a little. Still, it's a lovely primer, not oily at all, and it will make your makeup look awesome :)

Excellent primer.

The packaging is perfect; it’s very easy to control the amount of product you want to use. 
The liquid to powder formula is simply luscious! 
I truly loved this product as a primer. 
I can’t say I felt it reduced the appearance of fine lines. 
However, I felt it did make a difference with the appearance of open pores. 
I will definitely continue using this as a primer because I absolutely loved it!
