Broad spectrum SPF 30+ water resistant protection helps to screen out UVA and UVB rays to protect the back of your hands following treatment with Superfade Original Cream. May assist in the prevention of some skin cancers and contains moisturisers to reduce the drying of skin.

NOTE: 

• This product will not fade exsisting pigmentation, but will protect exposed skin from further sun damage.

1. Squeeze gently and use sponge applicator to apply liberally and evenly to all unprotected areas of the skin half an hour before sun exposure. 
2. Re-apply at regular intervals. 
3. Always wear protective clothing, hats and eyewear when exposed to the sun. 
4. Avoid contact with eyes and clothing. 
5. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. 
6. If irritation occurs, wash affected area and discontinue use.

WHY SHOULD I USE UV HAND SHIELD?

Since pigmentation is aggravated by sun exposure, it is very important to protect your skin against further damage by using an SPF30+ sunscreen.

Superfade UV Hand Shield SPF30+ is a broad spectrum, water resistant sunscreen. While the handsfree applicator makes it perfect for applying to the back of hands (where many people get age spots), the sunscreen is suitable for use all over the body.

WHAT PROTECTION DOES UV HAND SHIELD OFFER?

It blocks both UV-A and UV-B rays to protect against the formation of freckles and brown spots caused by the sun, as well as moisturising your skin.

DOES UV HAND SHIELD LIGHTEN PIGMENTATION?

Both these products are for protecting the skin from further sun damage and the resulting pigmentation. Used alone they do not lighten pigmentation.

CAN SUPERFADE UV HAND SHIELD BE USED ELSEWHERE?

The Handsfree applicator is ideal for protecting the backs of the hands without mess, however it can be used anywhere on the body that needs sun protection.

HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT BEFORE APPLYING SUNSCREEN?

After applying Superfade Cream or Face Cream to the pigmentation, wait a minute or two before applying UV Hand Shield or UV Day Shield to all exposed skin.

WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES?

If you are allergic to Sulphites and Hydroxybenzoates - you may have an allergic reaction

Go away, Freckles!

I have freckles all over my cheekbones, nose, forehead and chin. I have only recently begun to use sunscreen since coming here to Oz. So far I like this sunscreen, it does not have that strong zinc smell which I hate in most sunscreen and the product consistency is smooth and watery without being too wet or thick. Overall a good, reliable and good for money sunscreen. Will try the Superfade serum soon.

Superfade UV Hand Shield = Fantastic

I bought this product as a sunscreen to apply after the Superfade Original Cream however I also use this product by itself. After I finished using the Superfade Original (great results) I still had some of the Superfade UV Hand Shield left so I left it in my car so that I could protect the backs of my hands when driving. All in all this product is great and it is so handy to be able to keep sunscreen in my handbag and in the car.

Superfade UV Day Shield

I have been using the Superfade UV Day shield in conjunction with the Superfade Original and think it’s a good product. The lady at the pharmacy where I buy Superfade Original said that I needed to use a SPF 30+ as well so I decided to get this one as it is in the Superfade range. I like this product because it is easy to apply, provides good protection and I don’t notice that I have it on. The only negative I would say is the tube as it is not very appealing, other then that I highly recommend this product.
